Just so you know how delivery to you of something of this size, weight and robustness works…
The 5 main constituent parts of our Firewood Feeder® are all delivered secured to an A-frame structure on a wooden pallet. You can then unpack them at your leisure. And the reason we deliver this product in this way is due to its overall weight.
That said, the heaviest individual one of these parts is no more than about 25kg (55lbs). This therefore makes all the parts easier to move to exactly where you need them to put them all together.
And remember: one person can easily unpack this and, even better, one person can also assemble this flat packed product on their own, although two makes it even easier and more fun.
Just arm yourself with a power drill for installing both sets of side panels more quickly with the supplied screws (and instructions)…as well as a cup of tea or coffee and even, in the spirit of wild abandon, some cakes and/or biscuits! What’s not to like.
These wooden pallets can take items of between 1.2m x 1.0m (4ft x 3.4ft) wide and up to 2.2m (7ft 2ins) high. Our products reach 1.85m (6ft+) in height and 1.0m (3.4ft) in width. So please factor this in when thinking where exactly you want your new Firewood Feeder® delivered.
Also, your delivery driver uses a pallet truck (as in this image) to move the product around.
These pallet trucks are designed to go over smooth or relatively smooth ground with their small wheels, especially with a heavy item or set of items on them, but they can’t be taken over steps, grass or gravel.
So please factor this in ahead of your delivery. Thank you.
